On a quest for the legendary Lair of the Golden Condor, thought to grant one wish to the person who finds it, players venture through treacherous lands and discover the mystery surrounding this mythical realm. Many warriors have set out on this grand adventure but none have survived the perilous journey through deep caverns, vast forests and dangerous mountain passes. The path is filled with ferocious monsters, hidden traps and thieves that Shiren and Koppa must battle through and survive in order to reach their goal and claim their prize.

Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer features a turn-based control scheme and inventory system that harkens to the days of classic role-playing games. This epic adventure will challenge gamers with limitless randomly generated dungeons, advanced tactics to use and puzzles to solve. With new areas to explore, updated graphics and sounds and a new tutorial mode, this dungeon adventure will thrill players with countless hours of gameplay.

Classic RPG Experience: Countless hours of turn-based action gameplay gives players time to plan their attacks and keeps them on their toes with levels that are unpredictable in nature.

Randomly Generated Dungeons: Players never know what kind of monster will be waiting to challenge them in the dungeon, or what important spells and equipment they may find.

Enhancements from Original SNES Game: Upgrades include three expanded territories, more challenging monsters, revamped graphics and sounds, plus a brand new tutorial mode.

New Online Rescue Feature: If players are defeated in a dungeon, they can summon another player to revive them via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Over 180 Unique Monsters to Battle: From bone-chilling undead warriors to fire-breathing dragons, the challenges increase as players near the Lair of the Golden Condor.

Multiple In-game Shops: While adventuring, players can purchase new items and spells, as well as upgrade their weapons, in a multitude of shops scattered throughout the land.

Shiren series of games has sold more that 1.5 million copies in Japan throughout its franchise history.
